My dog is an adorable moron. I'm still here at mom's and I had to bring the rats (of course) but they are hidden away at this alcove thing I have in my room, because Luna is way too interested in my rodent friends and would most likely terrify them to death if they saw her... but anyway, she can still hear them rustling in their cage and it's kind of driving her bonkers. She just keeps watch in front of the doors most of the time (if she's not distracted away) poor animals. ^_^;

Then for some reason I thought it would be a good idea to read this insanely epic length Glee fic where Quinn and Finn swap bodies and Quinn falls for Rachel because she needs to pretend to be her boyfriend and Finn is just adorable as a girl and and... It's a wip and already almost 300,000 words. I'm clearly insane, because I don't even like Glee.

Mom is going shopping tomorrow for sales and promised to buy me new socks. My life, so exciting. (although I do really need new socks quite badly)

It's kind of cool to know I just had my last class for this semester. I still have a few essays to write and a few more exams to take but no more classes for me.

I went to visit arilyn9  last Thursday and came back home yesterday so that was a fun trip. It's always great to talk about fandom stuff with someone. We went to see the little red riding hood movie and it definitely was better than Twilight (except for the directors continuing love for fake flowers). I really liked how the werewolf looked but I would have liked to know more about the lore, like could the werewolf control his change? and it seemed like the wolf was still completely sentient and aware even when in wolf form. ...just in general there should have been more wolf stuff. =)

We also watched The Game of Thrones episode and I have to say I didn't like it much. I guess I like my fantasy a bit less gritty and definitely with less incest. I mean it's pretty realistic to show the women and pretty powerless and not really bad ass but still, I like my fantasy where the women can do stuff too and not just simper in the background (or get rapes and sold off as happens in the Game of Thrones) I think it's a good thing I started reading the Wheel of Time instead of the Song of Ice and Fire when I was a teenager.

I should start packing and go home for the weekend. I haven't been there for a while so it should be nice. I have kind of missed my doggy. I wonder if we still have snow there, almost all of it has melted here and all of it was gone where arilyn9 lives.

*Gulp* I just realised that I only have 11 days to finish my bbb fic... ^_^; Let's hope I can kick my ass into gear and actually write the damn thing, after all I have already spent so much time on it and it would be a real shame not to get to post it.

So I have read a few of those read-along-blog type of things and they are a lot of fun, so I thought "Hey why don't I try to do that too!" And here I am amusing myself with this. I saw Hunger Games in the bookstore this week and bought it, because I was curious about it. It was a good pick for this read-through thing as well because it only has 375 pages and I don't expect it to be a very hard read.

Then some vids about HBO's Game of Thrones that will begin next month. Looks really cool, I'm really looking forwards to it, because if you don't count Legend of the Seeker when has there been a real fantasy show on TV?

Also x2 Luna is here, in my apartment visiting me in Joensuu. I was a bit wary of the idea beforehand but so far she's been good. (aka not barking all the time)

Also x3 I should be studying, I have an exam on Friday and I haven't even started, but I can't concentrate at all and I didn't really get any sleep last night so I just want to sleep. (social politics; why so boring?)
