The little lions won against Sweden's golden team! (assholes had the whole gold medal party planned ahead of time) It was pretty tense there for a while and the whole game went into overtime, but yay! (I'm pretty annoyed that the Hawks drafted Teräväinen, because man they don't need a player like that. *grump*)

Also the Wild won a game against the caps 5-3, which would be fine, except that they only had 11 shots on goal during the whole game!!! They scored on almost half their shots wtf, how does that even happen. It was also some kind of a record. Wow... I hope they can do better from here on out, because you won't win a lot of games playing like that.

I still don't have the last winter classic episode, it's so unfair. =(

One of the coaches said that because Finland is a small country we can't have all the best players, but we can have the best team. It's pretty accurate on the whole about the Finnish national hockey teams. I hope it'll hold true in the Olympics as well. *fingers crossed*

Congrats on the wjc win! That was an awesome game to watch. Your baby goalie was stellar/adorable.

RYAN SUTER'S HAT TRICK!!! I just...that was so cool. Breaking corsi? Not so cool. I figured out their PDO for last night, it was 135.5. That's a number where the mean to regress to is 100. Even for just one game, which is a super small sample size, 135.5 is just...absurd. They really need to figure things out. And their next two are on the road...

Thanks, it was a bit too nerve-wrecking at points, so I had to scroll tumblr to distract myself... But yeah, awesome bb goalie was awesome!

He was so happy! It was adorable and he really deserved that.

Argh that PDO... also breaking corsi isn't good either. And like Yeo said, I have no idea what that did to the Wild's shooting percentage. >_>

Not to mention that if Koivu is out for an extended period of time... I mean Granlund is awesome and all, but I don't think he should be the number one center quite yet. *gulp*
