Thor II

Went to see it today in 2D and it was pretty awesome. I think it's my favourite Marvel movie and I'd even say I liked it more than the Avengers. (I know it's not saying much, but the plot made more sense to me, so I was able to enjoy it more. I might change my mind after I see it again once it comes out on DVD, but that's how I feel right now)

- I liked the dark elves as the bad guys and that Doctor Who actor did a good job even under all that make-up. Also the guy from Oz was his second hand man, but he changed into a CGI creature less than half way through...
- Jane and Darcy continued to be good for me. Other than the fact that it seemed like Jane waited two years for Thor, after being together with him for like three days, or something. (she also had a date with that guy from the I.T Crowd. That was amusing)
- For some reason they made Selvig crazy and said it was because of Loki. So how did Hawkeye get over it so quickly?
- Frigga was extra special kind of awesome, so of course they killed her. ='(
- Seeing Loki and Thor work together was so good for me. And then Loki faked his own death and THEN! I was so happy I hadn't been spoiled for any of this, because omg! I wonder what that will mean in the future

Also, people seem to have liked my story \0/ It makes me so happy. I got amazing comments too, like I never know what to answer to them, but it was so nice. Especially because commenting isn't really a thing on AO3, like it used to be on LJ.

I was trying to stay away from spoilers, but I couldn't resist!! xD It'll still feel unspoiled for me because I'll be forgetting this by tomorrow lmao

But anyway, a thought just popped into my head about Selvig and Hawkeye. Maybe Hawkeye got over it quickly because he got it beaten out of him, and Selvig had to stay with Loki's control for a bit longer?

And I didn't even spoil the biggest things, so you should be okay. :)

It's possible, but I don't think Selvig was possessed more than a day longer than Hawkeye. Dunno, different people made the movies, so maybe they just had different opinions about it. Or maybe Hawkeye is just better at hiding the effects.

Hawkeye is probably better at hiding the effects. Selvig is a regular person, while Hawkeye is a trained professional. There should be some difference to how they recover.
