Well the Hawks won. =( I don't even want to go on tumblr right now because I noticed during the final that I follow a lot of Hawks fans. Really not in the mood for their celebration posts. *sulk*

Also Bergeron was basically broken (a broken rib, torn cartilage and muscles in his ribs and a separated shoulder) for the last game... I have no idea how he even played. (are they allowed to get drugs, like was he on morphine or some other kind of serious painkiller... wtf?)

In other news I got an appointment to get my hair dyed this Saturday. Yay! It's been ages since I had a professional do it for me.

Well you can always unfollow, I'm not going to stop blogging about them any time soon.

Bergy's a trooper. Also, Handzus played with a broken wrist and not to mention Shaw with his battle wounds. Hockey players are they toughest mofos.

wow that sounded pretty hostile... I bet you would have felt pretty bummed out if the Hawks would have lost the cup. It's not like I was raving here about what assholes they all are or anything. I have no idea if I follow you on tumblr (because my name memory is for shit) but if I do I'm not going to unfollow you or any of my Hawks fans on my dash. I just said I didn't want to have their win rubbed in my face just yet. =(

They definitely are very tough, you have to wonder about their sanity though. ^_^; Well now everyone can rest and heal up until next season and hopefully there were no permanent injuries to anyone.

Woah, hey, I wasn't trying to sound hostile. Actually, I was trying to tell you there'd be no hard feelings if you unfollowed, because I understand why Hawks post make you upset. And stated the fact that my tumblr (that you in fact follow) is going to be full of Blackhawks. Sorry if it came out wrong.

Hah, well, I wouldn't give two cents for Shaw's sanity, tbh ;)

Okay, then I apologize for jumping to conclusions. It's kinda hard to read the tone sometimes on comments. ^_^; It's just that there have been some people on my flist today actually saying bad things about the Bruins and their fanbase (I'm sure it's far from perfect, but then again all teams have their asshole fans) so I guess I was feeling extra touchy. (hah and they aren't even my number one team... I think I might die if the Wild ever get past the first round again)

He does seem extra insane. I remember someone posted that one gif where it looks like Kane is mindcontrolling Shaw to attack people (I'm explaining it badly... like he would look at a guy and Shaw would jump him and then Kane turned around and looked at someone else and Shaw jumped them) anyway, it was funny and I would also read that fic... it would be hilarious, I'm sure.

It's okay! :) I actually like the Bruins, and the only thing I might begrudge their fans was the booing after Shaw got hurt. That is never cool. But then again, no fanbase is flawless, including the Hawks one. This series was incredibly tight, could have gone either way. The only opponent I actually disliked in these playoffs were the Red Wings; I do like the Wild and the Kings - those were some of the classiest, most heartwarming series ever.

Haha, well, my biggest worry about Shaw was that he would try to fight Chara and there would be no Bollig to play the bodyguard (Shaw is super tiny, shorter than Kaner even).

UUUUUUUUUUGH like, I couldn't even go on the internet last night, and I had to change the channel as soon as the buzzer sounded. I JUST CAN'T DEAL WITH OTHER PEOPLE'S HAPPINESS WHEN MY HEART IS BREAKING, OK. and I don't wanna hear every sports show talk about why the Bruins lost. it already hurts enough, just leave me alone.

now I have to wait in misery to find out which of the free agents will be staying or leaving. FERENCEEEEE D: D: D:

But Bergy, fucking hell. I want to give him all the hugs.

Yeah, it sucked big time. =(

I hope those things at least go like you'd want. Do you think Ference is asking for more money? (because that seems to be a big issue now with the cap, if he'd take less money there would be a better chance he'd stay. I dunno, some Bruins fans don't seem to like him much (especially during the playoffs and the B's do have new D-men in the system, so someone might have to go...)

Definitely, all the painkillers and hugs available.

I don't understand why Bruins fans can't see what they have in Andrew Ference. He played excellent in the playoffs, after he came back from his ankle injury. Maybe he's not putting up the points like Krug (who I don't think scored at all in the last 2 series), but he had an assist in this series and took lots of good shots on goal, and he's making chances in the offensive zone. He also gives big hits and takes them, is the first to stand up for his teammates on the ice and off (when everyone was attacking Krug for that turnover in game 1, Ference was the first to stand up for him), but he also holds some of the hotheads back from fighting when it would mean a stupid penalty. He's part of one of the best PK units in the league. And off the ice, he came up with the army jacket they give to the best player of the game. He helps develop the rookies like Hamilton. He's always the first Bruin to volunteer for community outreach (He and Thornton were going to march in the pride parade, but they had a playoff game.)

I mean, if you wanna say he's not the best defensive player on our team, fair enough. But people who can't see that he's worth keeping around just aren't paying attention. Any team would be lucky to have him, and I hope we're smart enough to see that.

Yeah, I don't really know either and I didn't follow the B's D that closely, so I don't have any opinions, although I can't remember him making any glaring mistakes either. And yes he is definitely a quality person off the ice. :)

I just went on gapgeek to look at his page (omg what is hockey doing to meeeee~) and he's not even making ridiculous money, idk, maybe they are worried that he's not worth another 4 year contract at his age or something. And I guess his points are pretty low if he's supposed to be an goal scoring D and not the stay at home type. Still I personally hope he stays.
