So me and
arilyn9 went to England this month (16-19th to be exact) Not that we saw that many places, just London and Birmingham. The whole point was to see One Direction live and we managed that... ^_^ It was pretty sobering to wade in the 7-12 year old's though. >_> Really not the target audience. x'D
We were way way back and up high so I couldn't really get any (good) photos, but here's proof we actually went there.

This is where we sat... So so so far from the stage. I took a few other videos, but yeah, no point in posting those. :D
Before the concert we had time to traipse around London for a bit (we went to the British Museum again and to Forbidden Planet and Waterstone's so the shopping part of this trip was awesome :D)
So not surprisingly I bought a lot of books (and two dvd's; a season of Entourage and Winter at Downton Abbey) The Invisible Romans is a history book, everything else is fiction. (in case you can't tell by the titles like 'The Jedi Path'... xD) I didn't know there were books written in the Dragon Age universe so I had to get one! So far it's been really interesting and the books are written by the same guy who wrote the games, so it's definitely canon in my books.

arilyn9 wanted to go to the Harry Potter Studios thing and I had nothing against going again, so here are a few photos again. (I'm kind of annoyed how I took a million photos here, when I already took the same photos the last time [although my camera was pretty crappy then] especially because I took literally one photo in London and one in Birmingham... Wow, priorities, I has them)

This display was my favourite, I just love all these amazing little details <3

Waah~ It's attacking!

The model Hogwarts continues to be super awesome, but why on earth would they have so much room? I mean if the whole school only has a couple hundred students? We will never know, I guess.

This time I was able to stop myself from buying everything cool I saw, so I only got a timeturner keaychain and a fridge magnet. Go me!
But the shop does a really good job with enticing you to buy, doesn't it?

Then in Birmingham we went to a museum, where we saw actual art! Le gasp~ But I took zero photos and then we went shopping at the Bullring(?) and ate at Nando's (also we had Japanese food twice in London. I had yakisoba and teriyaki chicken. Omnomnom)
This is from the shopping center...

arilyn9 wanted to go to the Disney store and I didn't really, but guess who ended up spending more money? (But look how awesome Merida is! How could I resist?)

This is from out hostel in Birmingham, the common area had a lot of personality. :)

And here is the only photo I took while we were in London. *facepalm*

We walked so much during this trip. My legs were continuously killing me, which in turn made me pretty cranky. Sorry
arilyn9. ^_^;
Then totally randomly here at the end, but I was just really surprised by this so I need to share. :D I got this frozen pizza from the store today and look! It actually has a lot of toppings!!! Unheard of!

Date: 2013-04-27 12:19 pm (UTC)I don't actually remember how much the tickets were because we bought them like a year ago xD But I don't think they were horribly expensive. The concert was pretty good all in all, even though we were so far away. Just some times it seemed the guys were just doing things on routine, which is a shame as they usually seem to be pretty entertaining (according to tumblr at least)
She's a badass! :D
