Wild are winning!? and other things

oanjaI'm still not sure if this is all too good to be true, but right now things are great. The Wild have a four game win streak going, whee~
Also I found out that Mikko Koivu is going to be a dad. That came out of the blue as I didn't even know he had a girlfriend. Guy sure likes to keep his private life private.
Oh and the Ducks beat the Blackhawks! I was ready to give up on the game during the third period, but I should have known better. The Ducks don't just give up. :D Also Selänne got his 670th goal. Six hundred and seventy! It boggles the mind.
Have I mentioned yet how the NHL websites are hilariously bad and they love puns. A lot... :D
I mean seriously look at these! Is that a Magic Mike joke there for Mikko???
This road trip was great, because the team hasn't been that good on the road so far.
People have also started to talk about the teams baby Swede Brodin in the same sentence as the Calder cup (best rookie award) so that is awesome! Things are really looking up. Yay!
And look I have some non hockey things to post as well, it's a miracle!
Luna is here visiting me! She's staying for two weeks and so far, pretty good. It's obvious she's not used to living in an apartment building as she tends to bard at weird sounds she hears and she's super clingy and wants me to pet her constantly. I'm hoping she will relax a bit more.
It's been great having her here, as it's made me go explore the neighbourhood a lot more as we go on walks. There are a lot of small lakes that are great for doggy walks. I should try to take my camera with me one of these days.
And I got books from the bookdepository! Yay, new books. Well I have already read three of these (multiple times) but it's always nice to own them. The Dresden Files one is new to me, I'm hoping it'll be a good book so I can have a new series to read. *fingers crossed*
Then there is a new Star Trek trailer out as well! I still don't know if I like it based on these trailers, but I have faith that it will all turn out okay in the end. I can't wait to read new Kirk/Spock stories. I need them!

Date: 2013-03-24 10:13 am (UTC)Haha oon täällä Floridassa atm ja hieman rytmit on vielä sekaisin vaikka perjantaina jo tultiin kun illalla nukuttaa jo kello 8 ja sitten aamulla herään kello 6 mutta ei sen pahempaa tällä hetkellä! Eilen oli esitys ja meni hienosti vaikka vähän sydän tykytti just ennen esitystä. Ja kaksi muuta tyyppiä oli natiiveja joten niiden englanti oli varmaan miljoona kertaa mua parempaa mutta sain silti paljon kysymyksiä ja hehkutusta että onpa mielenkiintoista!:) Tänään sitten lähdetään Universal's Studiolle!
