oanjaSo the Wild have this show called 'Becoming Wild' and this season they are showing the players during the off season (filmed last summer) and the newest episode is about Mikko Koivu.
This is not the problem... I already thought he was great and he's definitely one of my favourite players, but now I kind of ship him with Granlund. *facepalm* It's super awkward for me... help?
Someone already made a primer for the pairing and when I first saw it, I was kind of like 'yeah I can see why this would be a thing a person might ship' but like I didn't want to go there! They are too real for me (which, I know weird thing to say by a person who ships a lot of rps.)It's really thorough introduction to the players as well. I didn't know a lot of the things written here
So yeah... But dude! in the 'Becoming Wild' episode Mikko allows the cameras to his apartment and then they show this:
He says it's photos of his friends and family... And then on the higher shelf a huge freaking photo of him and Mikael

Date: 2013-02-13 03:27 pm (UTC)Lj notified me on the linkage (which thanks, btw, it's nice to know that I didn't mess the primer completely up, and that people enjoy it :)), and had to comment. Mostly because HOLY SHIT THAT PHOTO. :D
Also, totally get what you said about not wanting to ship them because they're too real. I mean with bandoms and actor rpfs and so on, you are talking about people whose lives are so far removed from your own, that they might as well be complete fiction for all the difference it makes. Where as when it's about people who you could in theory at least run into at a supermarket or something, you have to at least be more aware of the fact that these are actual people we are talking about.
I'm just horrible and block those thoughts, when it comes to Granlund and Koivu, because come on! :D

Yeah, that's definitely it and also just watching the world championships etc before I got into the hockey fandom... I dunno it just feels wrong. /0\ (like I'm being a bad Finn xD)
I think I might have to get over feeling bad about it if things keep going like this. ^_^; I'm too much of a shipper not to, I'm afraid.
(totally random, but do you happen to know where Granlund is living? Like it seems it's pretty normal for rookies to live with someone their first year...)

I've been wondering about his living situation too, but alas, no word on it as of yet. But well.. They are so good friends, and it's important that Granlund get's to live somewhere that he can feel 100% comfortable at. ;)

Damn, all those reporters following him and nobody asks the important questions. :D (I would also like to know about the road roommates, because some still have those. These are the things I wonder about... Well that and how the Wild could get some scoring going.)

Yes, why are you asking about all these trivial things like board-battles and points and linemates? What good are you? (That actually is a little easier, simply because of the process of elimination! All players with entry level deals have to share a room. So with Wild, that'd be Granlund, Brodin, Coyle, Spurgeron and Scandella. I figured that Spurg and Scandy would be likely to be roomies, since they've both been on the team longer. And because Brodin was got the call up earlier, maybe he ended up with Granlund. Of course with Scandy getting send down it get's mixed up again. And in any case, the combinations are purely speculation. 'Cause yes, this is something that I spent time thinking about. :D)
They will score, this is a thing that's going to happen. #positivethinking

I didn't know that, thanks for telling me! (I'm way too lazy to actually read the agreement they made when they ended the lockout.) Granlund and Coyle were in the Aeros together though, right? So they would know each other? But maybe the Nordics need to stick together. :D It is an important thing to ponder about! For science and because of reasons!
I mean at least we know they can do it... Just need to get back to how they played the first two games.
