Hello internets

I got to come back home today... after spending a week in the hospital. I have a thrombosis in my left leg, but it's finally getting better so they let me leave. (awesome timing too because I finally got to see the new Sherlock episode... and yes my priorities are perfectly sane)

I saw at least a dozen doctors, had more blood drawn than I'm comfortable with, gave myself shots (I'm definitely cured from my fear of needles now) had an ultrasound done on my leg as well as a x-ray of my chest. The nurses were very nice, the food bland and the bed horrible to sleep in.

I have to take blood-thinning medicine at least for six months now and if I'm unlucky and the clot was caused by my genes I might have to take pills for the rest of my life. (I'm really hoping that won't happen)

Hopefully the year will get better from now on.

yeah I wouldn't recommend it to anyone... ^_^; But hopefully I will make a full recovery.

Uh, I'm sorta struggling with this comment, cause my first reaction was all capslocks and OMG, ARE YOU REALLY OK????? DON'T YOU DARE TO DIE ON ME!!! So, uh, would you like to tell how that happened? Like was that your bad leg and did that have something to do with the clot?

I should be back to normal soon enough, so no need to worry. They really don't know what could have caused it but I doubt it has anything to do with my bad knee. They did take a blood test to see if I have a gene that makes it more likely for me to get blood clots, but there is a chance that I will never know why it happened.
