oanjaSome random thoughts.
(I did like it. Facepalming John is just my only Sherlock icon)
Things I liked:
- I thought the episode was super entertaining
- Sherlock and John giggling in the Buckingham palace = <3
- The scene with the sheet
- People continuing to think Sherlock and John are a couple.
- John having serial dated a lot of women, all of whom left John because of Sherlock. (I'd bet money on that, even though we only get proof on the latest one) x)
- Sherlock obviously has feelings for other people. Mrs Hudson and Irene mostly in this episode, but still. It makes a shipper feel better. ^_^ (ooh just remembered that Sherlock got pretty upset when the CIA guys threatened to shoot John)
Weird stuff I didn't like:
- What could Irene have told Moriarty in the beginning? Did I miss something super obvious, 'cause I would have liked some explanation... He got so mad and then just walked away. I don't get it.
- They made John seem pretty useless in the fight in Irene's flat... I dunno why but that bothered me somewhat.
- The Christmas party... what was up with Sherlock actually apologizing to Molly? I mean, I didn't really mind it (like I don't dislike her) but what was Sherlock's motivation, especially when they didn't explain it. I guess I'm too dumb to get it.
- That they made Irene fall for Sherlock. Dudes making Sherlock Holmes stuff, stop doing that.
- And that they made her and Moriarty work together again (I'm not sure but I don't think that's canon either)
- Especially when she said that she's gay... and still she fell for him that hard? O_o Even if she would have fallen for him, I think she would never have messed her stuff that badly. Dude, she was supposed to be smart.
- How was Sherlock supposed to be able to save her life? I just don't get it, why would he have done that when he foiled her plan to get protection in the first place...

Especially when she said that she's gay... and still she fell for him that hard? This! I mean, I can kind of get it if I think it as a purely intellectual powerplay kind of attachment but still...
How was Sherlock supposed to be able to save her life? I just don't get it, why would he have done that when he foiled her plan to get protection in the first place...!!!!!! This, so much this! Like, How would Sherlock be able to infiltrate a group somewhere in middle east? Why an Earth would Sherlock be somewhere in middle east without Watson?!? And How could he pull that one of? just, how? They escaped a ring of armed men by wielding a sword and fighting bare handed? Graaaaah mind just boggled!
