writing stuff

So good things:
- NaNoWriMo is awesome for me, because I actually have to write!

- I have 6207 words for my mpregbb fic and the minimum is 10,000. I think mine will end up being around 20,000 (I hope it wont run longer) and then I have 3955 words written for my bandomstuffsit story. I'm hoping it'll be around 10k when it's done.
- I have been researching nuclear war related facts for a story I'm writing and man... That stuff is depressing. But, I hope the story will be interesting. =)
For example this map about where the fallout from nuclear bombs would spread in the States.

I wonder why they think the North and mid-west would be that heavily bombed, doesn't really make sense to me, I would think it would be concentrated a lot more on the East and West coasts... Still, pretty interesting stuff.
- And because I don't have enough writing projects on my plate, I'm thinking about signing up for avengers_bang because that story would only be due in March, so it should totally be doable. If I can get a blotbunny...  I'm kind of dying to write about Loki, just because I think he's adorable, but then again Steve/Tony is my Avengers otp, soooo~ You see my dilemma? And I might have to write an AU because I'm really shaky on their canon stuff. This reminds me, messy_kisses you promised to link me to that Steve/Tony timeline thingy?

Unrelated to all this, let me end this post with a photo of my rats. I think they look very cute here. =)


And now I think I will reward myself by playing The Sims. \0/

Haha~ all I know about them is from watching both Iron Man movies and reading a ton of fic. I haven't even seen Captain America yet. *facepalm* but as they say, who needs canon anyway? =D

i've only seen the first iron man movie. XD i spent the entire movie thinking "I NEED SOMEONE TO SLASH THIS GUY WITH". then a couple of weeks ago I discovered a ton of steve/tony gifs on tumblr AND LIFE MADE SENSE.
XD I'm going to see the second iron man movie, thor, the avengers and captain america and all those movies sometime...soon. ish.

I had the same exact thought, so I've been a very happy camper after I found there is this popular pairing for Iron man. =D I only need to see the Captain's movie, otherwise I'm all caught up with the movie canon. I thought they were all pretty entertaining in their own ways, but it's not like they are classics or anything. Especially Thor was pretty silly at times.

i've heard that thor is pretty silly. i'm a bit wary of it tbh because i grew up with nordic mythology and all and i always get a bit :/ when i see something 'based' on it...because it's never anything like the mythology canon. >.<

I'm somewhat familiar with the mythology and I found it easier to just think about them as original characters that don't have anything to do with the actual gods...

Which brings to mind, have you ever read the book American Gods by Neil Gaiman? And if so, what did you think about the way he used the Nordic deities?

I haven't actually! It's on my to-read list. I didn't know there were Nordic deities in it, though. I had the impression there were only American ones. (lol, wonder why)

Heh~ I don't think this is a spoiler if I say it has all kinds of Gods, because all the immigrants brought theirs with them when they came to America. It's a pretty awesome book imo, I hope you get to it at some point. =)

Which Kröh, means that I have always time and interest :D I was at Kannus for Halloween party so no much internet time. But tomorrow is monday so then onwards I'll most likely be on MSN a lot, again. :)
