oanjaIt was great to see some documentaries again, it's such a brilliant genre and somehow I always manage to forget how much I like it if I don't see any cool ones for a while. Anyway, saw two today: one about the White Stripes and one about Ola Salo, the singer of The Ark (Swedish band) They were both really brilliant in their own way but I was especially impressed by the White Stripes one, because before going to the see the film I seriously didn't know anything about them, except that one song that was kind of polular a while ago and the whole 'are they siblings or are they married?' thing.
This was a real high point for me about the documentary. I love how Jack sings this song that is meant for a female singer and doesn't try to change the pronouns or anything. And I just like this performance in general, although I'm sure his voice isn't for everyone.
Had an exam today and wrote two short essays for it. I really hope I passed, it would be one less thing in the way of me graduating...
It's gotten bloody cold this week and there is at least 20cm of snow. Is winter really here? Usually we only get permanent snow around Christmas...
Oh and I found one of my favourite Harry/Ron fics and have been happily re-reading it. I wish there was more good quality fanfic in that fandom. Also note to self: the HP RPS is utter crap.
