I'd say there's only really two obvious starting points (says the person who's read them all a million times, lol). If you're looking for advice, I think standard wisdom is to start from the first Miles book, The Warrior's Apprentice, and to work forward from there in internal chronological order, then go back and read the two Cordelia prequels when you're ready. It's up to you, obviously, but if you do check them out I look forward to hearing what you think of them :)
