Hi, I'm super happy that someone matched with me and I hope writing a story will be easy and fun for you. :) I tried to come up with some general things I like and then a few more specific prompts and hopefully some of it makes sense... ^_^; (some parts of this are just copy-pasted from last year's letter...)
General stuff
I would prefer the story to have a romantic relationship between the characters I asked for
All ratings are fine, I love some smut in fics, but I will happily read a G rated story. when it comes to kink fics I'm more into D/s than S/M
I love appearances from other canon characters so if you want to include people outside of the ones I specifically picked, that's more than welcome. (but please keep the main attention on the characters I requested)
If none of my ideas work for you, feel free to write something completely different. I like that kind of surprises and I don't want writing a story for me to feel like a horrible chore.
Things/tropes that I don't like: abuse, animal harm, wing-fic, always-a-girl trope, mundane AU's, telepathy, unhappy endings --> major character death (but angst is fine, within reason)
Tropes I especially like: soulbonds, trope inversion in general but especially in A/B/O, friends-to-lovers, pining, world building, arranged marriage/fake dating, kidfic, historical AUs, fantasy or scifi settings (obviously you don't have to write all OR any of these)

What I really like about them is that their affection for each other seems to genuine and sincere, they aren't afraid to show their feeling for each other. It also really lends itself to some slash goggles very easily... :D In this fandom I prefer that we hand wave the real life spouses, I don't really want to read about break ups. Let's just think about it as an alternative universe where they are all also attracted to men and not involved with other people.
When it comes to this fandom I really want poly stuff, I don't really ship them in any particular pairings. If you want to write something short, I think established relationship fic would be cute, like an anniversary maybe, or them spending some holiday together for the first time.
If you want to write a get together fic that would be so amazing, like how do they figure it out? Who is the first one to see the potential? Does the spark come from some type of video they make, like some kind of truth or dare, or confined in a wilderness cabin for two weeks with no contact to the outside world? Or do they just straight up make a video series like 'the try guys try to date each other' or something, which is supposed to be for views and funny but they actually find out it works?
If possible I'd prefer the story to be set in "canon" and by that I mean they still do videos for Youtube instead of getting like a coffee shop au. I wouldn't say no to some magical elements sprinkled in as plot devices though, like sex pollen, or something else you might come up with.

Quentin Coldwater, Eliot Waugh
I love these poor boys! I have read the books but I prefer the characters from the tv show (oh gods how annoying Quentin is in the books...) they are so messed up, but trying their best and hey work best when they are together. I love how Eliot doesn't love many things or people, but how Quentin is one of those people and we've seen how he's willing to even die for him. And now I think Quentin sees it too, after the Mosaic and omg the mosaic episode!!!!!!
This is such a lovely fanvid about them, if you felt like you needed some inspiration. :D
So anyway, I would love a get together fic where they figure it out that they want to be together. Feel free to make it a bit angsty first if that works for you. This fandom is such an angst fest it fits right in. For example how much do they remember about the Mosaic life they had? Or if you don't want to write about that part set it earlier in canon or just skip the thing all together.
If you want to go more plotty I love Fillory things and quests and maybe royal weddings? (if this is earlier in canon) Or what does it mean now that Eliot is no longer the High King? This is totally out there, but what if they found their way into some other fantasy realm, while trying to fix one of their problems (this would be so amazing and hilarious) If you happen to write a longer fic I'd love to have the gang along with the adventures, but it's def not a must. (I think this type of prompt is asking for too much already)
Shorter, sillier fics would be much loved too. Like some type of spell going wrong (amnesia, love spell, forced proximity etc [but pls no telepathy])

Zhào Yúnlán, Shěn Wēi
I haven't finished the show yet... I'm going to try to finish the series before Yuletide reveals though, so you should be okay if you want to deal with the whole series. I've also started reading the translation for the original novel, but I'm not super far into it (I'm at the part where they go up to the mountains with the ghost lady)
Again I'd like a story that's set in the canon world where they are the same people as in the show. No coffee shop au's please. Feel free to go more with the book canon on the supernatural, the alien stuff from the show is pretty silly... The tv show can't show how they get together for obvious reasons, but I'd love to read about it some more. From what I have read of the novel version, I have to say I prefer the show Zhào Yúnlán as he seems generally nicer.
some prompt ideas: like what if they were stuck on some other plane and had to pretend to be together so that Shěn Wēi can protect Zhào Yúnlán, or maybe there's a powerful spirit or something that fixates on Zhào Yúnlán and Shěn Wēi has to step in. Ha~ I'll admit I love protective Shěn Wēi a LOT. I think it's because Zhào Yúnlán is so competent on his own right that maybe he doesn't even realize he might like someone else to take care of him for a while. Then there's the whole past life backstory I still don't know too much about, if you want to write about that.
Like I said with the Magicians, I would also love something silly that a magical mishap causes them to get together like amnesia, love spell/sex pollen, forced proximity etc [but pls no telepathy].
