The Wild won last night(/this morning for me). 4-3 Whee~ But now they are facing the Ducks, who are awesome! (I really want them to win the Cup this year. Yeah I said it. I'm not rooting for the Hawks...)
The Wild are at 10-7-2 right now. I really hope they can keep more games in the win column. *fingers crossed* The team has started to find some scoring too, which is awesome of course. I hope they won't lose the touch again.
The next three games are Ducks, Oilers and then Hawks. (and then Nashville, Canucks and Ducks again) It doesn't look easy.
I really want the team to beat the Oilers though. Their fanbase seems to have absolutely no respect for the Wild for some reason and I just want to rub their faces in it. I can be pretty vindictive sometimes.
I've noticed that all the fan blogs have different cultures. (not that I have stalked all of them) but like the Oilers are really stats oriented, the Hawks like to talk about their players by their numbers. (which is inconvenient for me, as I only know the numbers for the stars). The Red Wings were pretty desperate when I was last there but their team has been doing better lately. And most hilariously the Ducks keep talking about money... In every post I've read.
Which makes me wonder how much money do the Hawks have, I mean how can they afford all their star players? (or do they have cheap contracts for some reason.) They did have cap issues after they won the cup though, as they sold a lot of the players afterwards. Hmm...
If I felt like I could write a hockey story I would write one where Toews get's traded to Winnipeg and all the drama that would cause in Chicago and how I'm sure Winnipeg would practically crown him their king and hail him as the saviour of their team and demand him to take them to the play-offs and to the cup. (I really like the Jets and right now they are a play-off team, but I dunno if they can make it. The Eastern conference is kind of insane)
This post doesn't really make any sense... but then again none of my posts do.
