whew

I think I passed the exams. *fingers crossed* both of them had open essays questions so I didn't have to remember any theorists or historians by name (thank fuck, because my name memory is sooooo bad)

Now I just need to pack my stuff and go visit mom for the weekend. =) And that would be nice, if it didn't mean that I will totally miss the new Supernatural episode (our internet is so slow at home there is no point in trying to download it) and also Hunger Games would have opened in cinemas today... Well I'll just have to go see it next week.

So the agenda for this weekend is to finish writing up my survey form, for my social policy seminar thesis and then hopefully go the the high schools next week and conduct the survey. That would mean I'd still have about two weeks to analyse and write up the reseach paper.

Damn, I feel like I'm actually accomplishing things. \0/ It seems more and more likely that I will be able to wrap up all my studies this spring and then hopefully I can do my thesis during the summer and then graduate in the Autumn. Fucking finally!!!! But then again I've been thinking that it would be awesome to go to graduate school, I mean how cool would it be to have a doctorate... =P

My mom is awesome because:

When I got here she told me she'd bought us the 'office home' thing for PC, so now I can finally have a legit copy of Word, powerpoint etc. Seriously awesome because the program is pretty damn expencive.

And then I told her that I had planned on going to see the Hunger Games, but I came home instead and she said she wants to see it too and that we should just go see it together. So we are going tomorrow... My mom wants to see the Hunger Games... what in the world? I mean she did read all the Harry Potter books, so she's not anti-Young Adult books or anything, but then again I don't think she saw any of the HP movies and she hasn't read the Hunger Games. She just said the trailer on TV had made it seem interesting. =D I hope she'll be able to enjoy it.

Last time I went to the movies with my mom we saw Mamma Mia... xD And I still think it was a pretty good movie. Totally silly, but pretty good.

Also, I brought the rats with me and Luna saw them, now she's obsessively guarding the door to the sauna and shower room, because I put the cage there so Luna wouldn't stress them out.

Mom is going to dye my hair tonight as well, I hope the colour will turn out okay.

I can't believe I just spent this much time talking about my mom... Can you believe I'll be 26 in two months?
